Alba Rays started because weeknight cooking had turned into the same four meals on repeat. Everything here gets cooked in a normal kitchen, on a normal budget, before it gets written up. If something on the site did not work the way it read, that is worth knowing about.
What to write about
- A recipe that did not behave — tell me the pan, the heat and roughly how long, it is nearly always one of those three.
- A substitution that worked better than the original.
- Kit questions. Ask what to buy and you will get an honest answer, including when the cheap one is fine.
- Corrections. Wrong oven temperature, a step in the wrong order, a missing ingredient — send it and it gets fixed.
